Hello. I'm Kelly, 22, recovered for a few years now, but I still slip toward the old behaviors and thoughts. I had ED-NOS, technically, but I fit all the criteria for anorexia nervosa except for loss of menstruation.

Anyway, lately, I've been losing weight without meaning to, and it's freaking me out. It's not like I'm trying to or anything, and it's loss of control in a different way than my ED was. Has anyone else had this happen? How did you cope with it?

Hi, welcome.

I'm afraid I can't relate. Right now I'm trying to lose weight but trying even harder not to fall back on bad habits, which leaves me getting nowhere in particular.

So, I can't give you any useful advice, but I figured I'd say hi anyway.

hey..
i was just diagnosed with ED-NOS in september, and i have the exact same thing as you. i fit all of the criteria for anorexia, but i still get my period. i just recently got out of the hospital for 2 weeks, and i'm definitely here for support. i think i know exactly how you feel :]

stay strong! it could be your ed and you just don't know it. sometimes that happens to me, where i get nervous about eating or lose weight and i don't even know why. make sure you're keeping on the path to recovery... and don't let "Ed" ruin your life!!

I'm here for support :)
